Black Taj Mahal in Agra
Black Taj Mahal was a concept of creating the replica of white Taj Mahal just on the opposite bank of Yamuna River. The idea of black marble mausoleum was planned to be set up on the other bank of the river connecting by a bridge with the white beauty. The second Taj was a dream project of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, which was demolished by his son Aurangzeb.

According to historic reference, the idea remained unsculptured as Aurangzeb, son of Shah Jahan managed to stop his father to misuse such huge amount of money. However, a sensational report was released during an excavation work in 2006 regarding the scattered black marbles in Mehtab Bagh.
